This month, Clinicminds remains committed to innovation, introducing exciting new features and significant enhancements aimed at improving your clinical workflow, patient management, and overall clinic efficiency.

Comprehensive Medical Weight Loss Management

Clinicminds now fully supports medical weight loss treatments, enabling precise patient tracking and management. You can directly record essential body measurements such as BMI, blood pressure, heart rate, and waist circumference into patient records. BMI values are calculated automatically, simplifying your consultations. Patients can even record these measurements remotely from home, with all data accessible through clear progress graphs that can be easily shared via email.

 

Delayed prescription sending

Additionally, the new option to delay sending prescriptions until invoices are paid aligns perfectly with evolving medical weight loss management workflows, ensuring that treatments and prescriptions are seamlessly integrated.

 

Introducing Payment Requests

Managing patient payments just became easier. Our new Payment Requests feature lets you quickly send direct payment links via email or SMS, enabling effortless online payments anytime—before, during, or after appointments. Payments made through these secure, Stripe-powered links automatically credit patient wallets, streamlining your financial workflow. This update accommodates diverse clinic scenarios, especially workflows that require payments before treatment or prescription issuance.

Reduced Stripe Payment Fees

Great news for your clinic’s finances! We have significantly reduced the online payment fees processed through Stripe to a flat €0.49 per transaction (or local equivalent, excluding Stripe’s fees). This change makes online transactions more predictable and affordable, enhancing your practice’s cost-efficiency.

 

Improved Dashboard Experience

Based on valuable user feedback, we’ve improved the Clinicminds dashboard experience. You’ll now find an “All Locations” dashboard for managing appointments across multiple clinic sites from a single screen. We’ve clarified the dashboard’s focus on today’s schedule and reinstated the beloved calendar shortcut. These enhancements, along with the dashboard now being the default view, are designed to help you manage your daily operations with greater ease and clarity.

 

Enhanced Task Management

Our new dedicated Task List window, directly accessible from the main menu, simplifies managing even the most significant task loads. The dashboard continues to provide quick task overviews, while this comprehensive Task List ensures effortless organization and maximum productivity. Look out for additional task-related enhancements in the coming months!

Smart Enhancements Across the Board

Clinicminds now proactively alerts clinics about payment disputes, providing greater financial protection and peace of mind. For our Dutch users, restitution invoices now clearly display body localization, relevant codes for clarity, and a Clinicminds software vendor ID for communications with insurers. Additionally, improvements to staff planner visuals clearly indicate booking percentages, and we’ve upgraded the photo drawing tool to enhance your patient documentation experience.

 

Stability and Bug Fixes

Finally, we have addressed several minor issues, including calendar stability, SMS display accuracy, staff planner updates, wallet balance accuracy after refunds, secure handling of online booking phone numbers, and a rare labeling error within the QMS. These refinements ensure a smoother and more reliable Clinicminds experience.
